Foresight Sports Launch Monitors: GC2, GC3, GCQuad, QuadMAX and Falcon

Foresight Sports launch monitors measure the ball with high-speed cameras, and the San Diego company now sells five of them: the new GC2 ($1,699), the GC3 (from $6,999), the four-camera GCQuad (from $15,999), the overhead Falcon (from $16,999) and the flagship QuadMAX (from $19,999). All of them run on the Foresight+ membership and the new Foresight Premier simulator software. This guide covers every model, the software tiers and prices, SIM IN A BOX simulator packages, and Foresight’s buying programmes.

Every fact on this page comes from Foresight Sports’ own websites (foresightsports.com, plus.foresightsports.com and premier.foresightsports.com), checked on 4 October 2026. Prices are US prices. Sources are listed at the end.

About Foresight Sports

Foresight Sports designs and manufactures launch monitors, simulators, performance and entertainment software, and smart mobility products. It calls itself a pioneer of camera-based launch monitors: its first, the GC2 “Game Changer” smart camera, arrived in 2010, and Foresight says it became the best-selling professional-grade launch monitor within six years.

In 2017 Foresight launched the four-camera GCQuad, which it says won Golf Digest’s Editors’ Choice for best launch monitor four years running and is used by more PGA Tour players, retailers, manufacturers, coaches and fitters than any other technology. Engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance all sit under one roof, and Foresight reports more than 15,000 GC launch monitors and simulation solutions in use in retail stores, ranges, commercial facilities and homes.

Foresight Launch Monitors

Model Cameras Type Highlights Price
GC2 (2026) 2 Portable 14 ball measurements, built-in display $1,699
GC3 3 Portable Ball and club data, touchscreen From $6,999
GCQuad 4 Portable Large capture area, putting analysis From $15,999
Falcon 4 Overhead 59 × 28 in hitting zone From $16,999
QuadMAX 4 Portable Touchscreen, speed training, NFC From $19,999

GC2 (2026)

The all-new GC2 is Foresight’s most affordable launch monitor. Two high-speed cameras photograph the ball through impact, and Foresight stresses that its 14 numbers are measured, not modelled: ball speed, launch angle, launch direction, back spin, side spin, total spin, spin axis, carry, total distance, curve, offline, peak height, descent angle and hang time. It has a built-in display and works in a garage, into a net, on the range and on the course. Foresight lists it at $1,699, shipping from 9 October 2026 and in retail stores from 15 October.

GC3

The GC3 uses three cameras to capture both ball and club data, has four ways to connect (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, USB-C and Bluetooth) and a touchscreen that is readable indoors and out. It measures 6 × 12 × 5 inches and weighs 5 lb (2.3 kg). Foresight lists a one-year US warranty.

GCQuad

The GCQuad’s four-camera “Quadrascopic” system has a ball capture area up to six times larger than the original GC2. It connects by Wi-Fi and Ethernet, runs on a swappable lithium-ion battery, comes with an alignment stick, and adds Essential Putting Analysis, which measures putts from launch and skid through to roll distance. It measures 7 × 12.5 × 4 inches, weighs 7.5 lb (3.8 kg) and has a two-year US warranty.

QuadMAX

The QuadMAX is built on the GCQuad’s four-camera system and adds a touchscreen, a speed-training mode that measures swing speed without hitting a ball, MyTiles (up to six custom data presets in the Foresight app) and NFC pairing with your phone. Its 12,000 mAh field-swappable battery lasts 7–9 hours, about 15% more than the GCQuad, and magnesium internals make it about 15% lighter. Existing GCQuad owners can upgrade.

Falcon (overhead)

The Falcon mounts on the ceiling and uses the same Quadrascopic technology as the GCQuad. Foresight lists these specifications:

  • 43 in long, 26 lb, reinforced aluminium frame with replaceable rubberised impact protection.
  • Hitting zone of 59 × 28 in (1,652 sq in).
  • Gigabit Ethernet, USB-C and Wi-Fi; integrated power supply; automatic latching ceiling mount.
  • Measured data: launch angle, side angle, ball speed, back and total spin, side spin, spin axis, club head speed, club path, angle of attack, loft, lie, face angle, impact location and closure rate.
  • Two-year limited warranty.

Discontinued: GCHawk

On 10 August 2026 Foresight discontinued the GCHawk overhead launch monitor and named the Falcon as its replacement. The standard warranty is honoured for GCHawk units already sold, and Premier still supports the GCHawk.

Software: Foresight+ and Premier

Foresight+ is the software membership for every Foresight device. One account covers Foresight Premier, the new PC simulator software, and the Foresight app on phones and tablets. The membership belongs to your account, not to a device, so one plan covers, for example, a Falcon at home and a GC3 at the range.

Tier Price What it adds
Free $0 Core data views in the app and Premier; 10 sessions of history
Silver $199 a year Unlimited history, dispersion, tags and zones, drills (Ladder Drill, Target Practice), club data on Bushnell devices, eligibility for Course Pass
Gold $599 a year Everything in Silver plus swing video capture, multiple profiles, club comparison, drills with course overlays and third-party integrations
Course Pass $295 a year 35 courses in Premier (needs Silver or Gold)
Course Pass Pro $595 a year The full library of 111 courses in Premier (needs Silver or Gold)

Every new Foresight device includes a 30-day trial of Foresight+ and Course Pass (a credit card is needed). Memberships are billed annually and renew automatically unless cancelled. Premier supports the GC3, GC3S, GCQuad, QuadMAX, GCHawk and Falcon, plus Bushnell’s Launch Pro and LPi. If you already own an FSX licence (Play, Pro or 2020), it keeps working.

Third-party software

Foresight integrates with E6 Connect, Creative Golf, Swing Catalyst, GSPro and Awesome Golf, plus the PinSeeker closest-to-the-pin app. Using GSPro needs a Gold membership plus a separate GSPro subscription; third-party software is not available to Silver or free users.

SIM IN A BOX Simulator Packages

Foresight’s SIM IN A BOX packages pair a launch monitor with simulator components; contents vary by package. The Falcon SIM IN A BOX, for example, includes a hitting enclosure, impact screen, high-lumen projector, computer cart, turf and hitting mat. The Universal kit’s push-button aluminium frame can be set to 11, 12 or 13 ft wide, and a frame extension allows a Falcon to be mounted overhead.

Package Price
SIM IN A BOX Net – GC2 $2,899
SIM IN A BOX Play 10′ – GC3 $11,999
SIM IN A BOX Custom (GC3, GCQuad and other configurations) $15,999–$30,499

Foresight also says it is the only simulator environment that integrates with PuttView, an augmented-reality putting system that projects the line onto a contoured green and tracks the ball with a camera.

Is Foresight Right for You?

From what Foresight publishes, its range now runs from a $1,699 ball-only unit to tour-level four-camera systems, all camera-based and all sharing one software membership. Golfers who want measured spin without special balls at a lower price can start with the GC2; those who need club data look at the GC3 and up; and dedicated rooms that want a clear floor suit the Falcon. Remember to budget for Foresight+ and a Course Pass if you want course play. Bushnell’s Launch Pro uses the same software; see our Bushnell Golf guide.
