Golfzon simulators are installed, full-bay systems best known for their moving swing plates, which tilt the floor to recreate uphill, downhill and sidehill lies. About Golfzon
Golfzon calls itself the global leader in golf simulators. It was founded in 2000 to bring enjoyment and training to golfers worldwide. By its own figures, 51,350 Golfzon simulators are in operation in 63 countries at over 10,490 locations, hosting about 100 million rounds a year (278,152 a day) for 5.5 million online members.

Golfzon Technology
Sensors
- TwoVision sensor: high-speed, high-definition dual sensors set at 90 degrees, one on the ceiling and one on the kiosk. Golfzon says it reads everything from the longest drive to the shortest putt.
- Vision systems: Vision Premium uses ceiling-mounted high-speed cameras (T1); Vision Standard uses floor-mounted cameras (T2).
- GDR sensor: built for practice and swing analysis.
- How it reads the ball: Golfzon says its high-speed cameras watch the ball’s dimples, giving the same accuracy for a 320-yard drive as a 7-inch putt.
Moving Swing Plates
Golfzon says it makes the only golf simulators that can change the slope of the playing surface. Its five-segment plate (one segment for the hitting mat and four for the stance) creates about 100 different slopes, so you have to adapt your stance as you would on a course. The plates also show weight-transfer data, and an LED putting guide shows the line on the green. Golfzon offers a Motion Plate and a Dual Plate, plus five types of mat that mimic fairway, rough and bunker lies.
Auto Tee-up and no lag
Auto Tee-up collects and tees each ball at the right height and remembers every player’s preferred tee height. Golfzon also says there is no lag between the ball hitting the screen and the virtual ball flight.
Graphics
Golfzon has moved to Unreal Engine 5.x for more realistic courses, environments and ball dynamics.

Installation and Lead Times
Golfzon simulators are installed by Golfzon’s own engineers:
- Plans: Golfzon provides detailed construction plans to your general contractor, who builds the booth.
- Platform: the finished platform is 7.25 inches high.
- Install: Golfzon’s engineers check the booth, then install and calibrate the system, for homes and businesses.
- Timing: Golfzon normally estimates 6–8 weeks from signed order to first round, and its FAQ says this has been extended to 10–12 weeks because of logistics.
