Indoor Golf Directory
Detailed review of Tuscaloosa’s premier simulator facility.
Iron & Ember
Housed in the former University of Alabama golf team facility, Iron & Ember is Tuscaloosa’s first true indoor golf and social hub. It features four state-of-the-art Golfzon simulators with moving swing plates that mimic on-course lies. Unlike the outdoor course it sits on, this venue is open late and offers a full lounge atmosphere with drinks, making it the perfect year-round spot for students and locals to play 18 holes in under an hour.
Golf in the
Druid City
Tuscaloosa may be dominated by football, but its golf culture is rapidly expanding. With the recent renovation of the Jerry Pate Golf Center into a public venue and the arrival of putting entertainment concepts, T-Town is becoming a year-round golf destination.
Whether you are a student looking to escape the library, or a local avoiding the Alabama heat, Iron & Ember provides the premier indoor experience. Located at Ol’ Colony, it offers a perfect bridge between the traditional game and modern technology.
